Cellulite Treatment

Improvement in appearance. Not elimination.

Non-invasive treatment to smooth the dimpled appearance of thighs, hips and buttocks, with a realistic account of how much changes and for how long.

Cellulite is the dimpled appearance produced by the way fat sits against the fibrous bands of connective tissue beneath the skin. Where those bands tether the skin down, the fat between them pushes up, and the surface looks uneven.

The first thing worth saying is that it is normal. It affects the large majority of women, at every body size and level of fitness, and it is not a sign that anything is wrong. It is a cosmetic concern, and treating it is a choice rather than a correction.

What treatment can and cannot do

Technologies such as radiofrequency, vacuum and mechanical massage work on the three things that produce the appearance: the fat, the connective tissue, and local circulation. They can visibly smooth and firm the treated area over a course of sessions.

They do not eliminate cellulite permanently. The underlying anatomy that produces it is still there, and the appearance returns without maintenance. Any page that says otherwise is describing something no non-surgical treatment has been shown to do.

Losing weight does not reliably remove it either. People at a low body fat percentage often still have it, which is why treatment aimed at the tissue structure rather than at weight is the approach that makes sense.

The course, and what to expect

The affected areas are assessed first, because how much improvement is realistic depends on the grade of cellulite, the firmness of the skin over it and how much of what you see is fat versus laxity.

Sessions are comfortable and non-invasive, with no downtime — you return to your day immediately. A course is needed; a single session does not produce a visible change worth paying for, and we would rather say that than book you one.

Improvement develops gradually as the texture of the treated area refines. Staying hydrated and active supports the result, and periodic maintenance is what keeps it.
